At Gray Surety we understand the needs of our customers and we are both responsive and flexible in tailoring programs to meet the requirements of each of our customers. We believe that strong relationships are the core of our business. These relationships are built through trust, open lines of communication, and a genuine interest for our customers and the producers who represent them.

Our underwriting staff represent well over 100 years of underwriting experience with most of that experience being gained within the top 10 surety companies in the United States. Even though we have the capacity to write larger bonds and programs, it is by choice that we seek the local contractors who service their surrounding communities within each region. It is these companies, often family owned businesses, who we feel our knowledge and experience can best serve.

We are not a company of underwriters that you will never meet and that underwrites by “Credit Score” alone. We believe in looking to the merits of each customer, understanding the goals that each business is trying to achieve and personally meeting with our customers whenever possible. We don’t just want to know what they do; rather we want to know who they are.
