- Gray Surety Head of Underwriting 2003 - 2008.
- Edmund P. Pixberg, Jr., a Graduate of Tulane, started in the Surety industry in 1955 at F&D where he rose to the position of Resident Vice President in Louisiana. Under his leadership as President of the Gray Casualty & Surety Company and Vice President – Surety of the Gray Insurance Company Gray Surety was formed in 2003. We continue to emulate and uphold the underwriting traditions established by Eddie at The Gray Casualty & Surety Company even after Eddie’s passing in 2008.
- Head of Underwriting 2008 - Current – Birmingham.
- Terry Cook is a graduate of the University of Oregon and started in the Surety industry in 1974 with Aetna. In 1981 he moved to the F&D where he rose to the position of Resident Vice President of the Boston office. After spending further time with Markel and Hartford, Terry joined Gray Surety in 2005 as Regional Manager and Senior Underwriter.
- Senior Contract Underwriter – Birmingham.
- Tom Bole began his surety career in 1968 with Home Insurance Company. During the following 18 years, he managed several surety branch offices in North Carolina, Florida and Alabama. After spending the next 17 years on the agency side and 12 years as an agency owner, he retired. Three years later in 2006, he joined The Gray Casualty & Surety Company in the Birmingham office.
- Senior Contract Underwriter – Metairie.
- Debra Hymel, a graduate of LSU with an MBA from Tulane spent 18 years with USF&G / St Paul / Travelers where she rose to management level in the Louisiana Office. She joined Gray Surety in 2004.
- Contract Underwriter – Metairie.
- Michael Pixberg, a graduate of the University of Mississippi, started with Gray Surety in 2004. He was the previous President of the Louisiana Surety Association.
- Contract Underwriter – Metairie.
- Jennifer Wise, a graduate of Texas A&M with an MBA from Tulane, joined Gray Surety in 2005 after spending 3 years as a Credit Analyst with a Houston bank. She is currently the President of the Louisiana Surety Association.
- Contract Underwriter - Birmingham
- Parker Smith, a graduate of the University of Alabama, joined The Gray Casualty & Surety Company in 2008 after spending time in the banking industry and gaining surety experience as a bond manager with a Birmingham agency. He earned the Associate in Fidelity & Surety Bonding designation through the Insurance Institute of America and is currently working towards a CPCU designation.
- Commercial Underwriter – Metairie.
- Elizabeth Geraci, originally came from the agency side of Contract Surety after which time she moved to St. Paul Travelers in 2004 as a Commericial Surety underwriter. She joined Gray Surety in 2006 and brought with her 8 years of experience in the industry.
