ABOUT US

Gray Surety is a division of Gray & Company, the parent company of The Gray Insurance Company and The Gray Casualty & Surety Company. Our offices are located in Metairie, Louisiana and Birmingham, Alabama. Gray Surety commenced business in 2003, with Edmund P. Pixberg, Jr. heading up the division which now staffs 8 full time underwriters.

Bruce Wilson, the Business Manager of The Gray Casualty & Surety Company since 2003, became President of The Gray Casualty & Surety Company after Eddie’s passing in 2008, and Terry Cook took over as Head Underwriter of The Gray Casualty & Surety Company.  Terry Cook also holds the office of Vice President - Surety at both The Gray Insurance Company and The Gray Casualty & Surety Company.

Our Business - Contract and Commercial Surety

A Surety Bond is a three party agreement where by one party (the Surety) is responsible to another party (the Obligee) for the fulfillment of an obligation of a third party (the Principal).

Our Territory

Gray Surety distributes bonds through experienced, professional contract and commercial surety agents across the southern states. We will continue to add other states across the region in the future.
